Abstract: The charge-transfer complexes of poly(N-vinylcarbazole) (Mn=7200) and nitro- fluorenones were studied with VPO in different solvents. The relationship between equilibrium constant and solvent dipole moment was examined. The results obtained from polymer and model compound were compared, and the reason of their difference was explained. The relationship between the equilibrium constant and the molecular weight was given: InK_(CT)=InK_(CT)~∞+2M_0/M(InK°-InK~∞)
