摘要: 合成了一种Gemini阴离子表面活性剂,测定了其临界胶束浓度cmc和cmc时的表面张力γcmc,与传统的单基表面活性剂相比,其临界胶束浓度降低了一个数量级,具有突出的降低水的表面张力的效率;研究了该种Gemini表面活性剂的浓度对于胶束聚集数的影响,结果表明,随着浓度的增加,胶束聚集数出现了一个极大值,同时观察到液晶微相的生成.

Abstract: A new anionic Gemini surfactant has been synthesized by the following method: firstly a “dimer" was prepared by the reaction of nonylphenol(NP)and 1,4-dibromobutane in the presence of a catalyst. The “dimer” was sulfonated with chlorosulfonic acid and then neutralized with sodium hydroxide to obtain the title-compound. Micellization of the Gemini surfactant was investigated by using drop volume method. Result showed that the critical micelle concentration (cmc) of the Gemini surfactant has a much lower value compared with those conventional monomeric surfactants. The aggregation number (N) of the micelle was determined with intrinsic fluorescence quenching method as a function of concentration. N goes through a maximum upon increasing the concentration of the Gemini surfactant, meanwhile the formation of liquid crystal is observed.
