Abstract: The crystal structures of 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin(2, 3, 7, 8-TCDD) and its analogues have been determined. And the semiempirical INDO calculations for this type of compounds have been undertaken. Their characteristics of electronic structures were discussed. The possible active centers which can interact with biological receptor were also proposed.
