THE DETERMINATION OF THE DEPENDENCE OF THE RATE CONSTANT OF REACTION BETWEEN O (3P) AND 3-PENTANONE ON TEMPERATURE

Abstract: The second order rate constants of the reaction between O(~3P) and 3-pentanone were measured over temperature range 313-513K with discharge flow-chemiluminescence technique. The dependence of the rate constant on temperature was determined to be
k=1.41±0.46×10~(-10)exp(-5.76±0.07×10~3/1.987T)cm~8 molecule~(-1) s~(-1).
