Preparation and Self-assembly on Glasses of Surface-functional Polystyrene Nanoparticles

Abstract: In order to assemble polystyrene nanoparticles onto glasses and enhance combining force between polystyrene nanoparticles and the glasses, surface-functional polystyre nanoparticles were prepared by emulsion polymerization, characterized by FTIR、TEM、XRD, etc., rich of carboxyl can be seen on the surface of the polystyrene nanoparticles and the diameter of which is about 50 nm. A thin film with uniformity and wide coverage was firstly obtained on glasses based on self-assembly. A best experimental project was proposed.
