Electrochemical Properties Study of Sb2O3 doped Li4Ti5O12

Abstract: Li4Ti5O12 was modified by doped Sb2O3. The samples were characterized by galvanostatic charge-discharge,cyclic voltammetry(CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS). The results indicated that the initial capacity was as high as 595.84mAhog-1 and the colombic efficiency was 45.7%when Ti:Sb=4:1. The capacity was still 249.57mAhog-1 after 20 charge-discharge cycles. The possible reaction mechanism was proposed and used to explained the losses of capacity. EIS results showed that Sb-doping could suppressed the electrochemical reaction resistant.
