Special Issue Information Thermal analysis kinetics and thermokinetics are disciplines which study physical changes or chemical reaction kinetics using thermal analysis and calorimetry technology. Currently, these fields are some of the most active in thermochemistry. Thermal analysis kinetics and thermokinetics can be used to evaluate the stability and service life of polymer materials for aerospace applications. They can also be used to assess the explosivity and flammability of petroleum and other energetic materials; explore the laws of biological growth and metabolism; provide thermodynamic and kinetic data for drug actions; and other physical and chemical reactions. Therefore, with the continuous development of thermal analysis and calorimetry technology, thermal analysis kinetics and thermokinetics have been irreplaceable in the fields of chemistry, chemical industry, biology, and medicine, and have showed a broad range of application prospects.
This special issue aims to highlight the recent progress and achievements in the field of thermal analysis kinetics and thermokinetics in China.
Submission Manuscripts should be submitted online at http://www.whxb.pku.edu.cn/journalx_wlhx_en/authorLogOn.action. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. Papers will be published continuously (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles, communications and perspectives are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office (firstname.lastname@example.org) for announcement on this website. Manuscripts written in English or Chinese can be accepted. Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts are refereed through a peer-review process. We do not charge any fees from authors.
