Special Issue Information This issue of Acta Physico-Chimica Sinica is a special issue celebrating the 100th birthday of Dr. Youqi Tang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and professor at the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University.
Dr. Tang is the founding editor-in-chief of Acta Physico-Chimica Sinica. The articles collected in this special issue are mainly from Dr. Tang’s students, collaborators, friends, and colleagues. The content of these articles reflects the frontiers of crystal chemistry, for which he laid the foundation; molecular engineering, which he initiated; and chemical biology, which he advocated in China. This special issue also includes a biographical sketch of Academician Youqi Tang, which reviews his scientific life in association with his academic journey in the hope of enlightening readers and inspiring younger generations of scholars.

Papers will be published continuously (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles, communications and perspectives are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office (firstname.lastname@example.org) for announcement on this website. Manuscripts written in English or Chinese can be accepted.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts are refereed through a peer-review process. We do not charge any fees from authors.
