FLUORESCENCE QUENCHING OF L4EuQH TYPE COMPLEXES BY STABLE FREE RADICAL

Abstract: The fluorescence quenching of nine L_4EuQH type complexes by stable free radical was studied. Results show that the bimolecular quenching constants were much less than the diffusion rate constant and the existence of a sphere of action within which the probability of quenching is not unity as usually reported in current literature.
