Guest Editors: ![]() Yuliang Cao, Professor College of Chemistry and Molecular Sciences, Wuhan University, Wuhan 430072, China Research Interests:Lithium/sodium ion batteries and new energy storage systems ![]() Yongjin Fang, Professor College of Chemistry and Molecular Sciences, Wuhan University, Wuhan 430072, China Research Interests:Lithium/sodium ion battery materials and interfaces ![]() Xiqian Yu, Professor Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing 100190, China Research Interests:Key materials and advanced characterization methods for lithium-ion batteries and solid-state lithium batteries Special issue introduction With the increasing global demand for renewable energy and efficient energy storage technologies, secondary batteries, as important energy storage devices, have received widespread attention. The cathode material of secondary batteries is one of the key factors determining their electrochemical performance, directly affecting the energy density, cycle life, and safety of the batteries. This special issue aims to gather cutting-edge research results, focusing on advanced cathode materials for secondary batteries, covering various types such as lithium-ion batteries, sodium-ion batteries, zinc-ion batteries, lithium sulfur/oxygen batteries, potassium-ion batteries, and magnesium batteries. Through the publication of this special issue, we hope to promote technical exchanges and cooperation in the field of secondary batteries, advance research on advanced cathode materials, and provide support for the sustainable development of renewable energy. We sincerely invite global researchers to actively submit articles and work together to promote cutting-edge research in electrochemistry and materials science. Submission Manuscripts should be submitted online at https://www.editorialmanager.com/actphy/Default.aspx, please select special issue title “VSI: Secondary Batteries” during submission process. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. Upon acceptance, papers will be published immediately and listed collectively on the special issue's webpage. We welcome original submissions such as communications, research papers, as well as perspectives, feature articles, and reviews. Articles can be written in either Chinese or English. Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts are refereed through a peer-review process. We do not charge any fees from authors. |
