Frontiers in Colloid and Interface Chemistry Deadline for Submission: 30 September 2019 Guest Editor: Jingcheng Hao, Professor Key Laboratory of Colloid and Interface Chemistry, Ministry of Education, Shandong University, Jinan 250100, P. R. China Research Interests: Molecular self-assembly; Dispersion systems and aggregate structures of surfactants; Colloidal materials; Research methods, calculation methods and theories, and their applications in colloids and interface chemistry Special Issue Information Colloid chemistry, an important branch of physical chemistry, mainly involves research on colloid-scale dispersion systems and other relevant functional applications. Research topics include the properties and patterns of dispersion systems formed by surfactant, macromolecules, and colloidal particles as well as assembly systems associated with interface phenomena. These topics are closely related to various fields such as materials, energy, environment, biology, and medicine. With the advances in technology, scientists are now capable of utilizing novel interfacial assembly methods to perform precise control of colloidal material structures at the nanometer scale, thereby elucidating the mechanisms of interfacial assembly and creating new functions and applications of colloidal materials. The focus of this special issue is the recent progress in colloid chemistry research, including synthetic methods of green surfactants, novel uses of Pickering emulsions, novel methods for structure determination, dynamic properties, and weak interactions of colloidal systems, and controlled interfacial assembly of polymeric nanomaterials. Submission Manuscripts should be submitted online at http://www.whxb.pku.edu.cn/journalx_wlhx_en/authorLogOn.action. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. Papers will be published continuously (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles, communications and perspectives are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office (whxb@pku.edu.cn) for announcement on this website. Manuscripts written in English or Chinese can be accepted. Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts are refereed through a peer-review process. We do not charge any fees from authors. |
