In recent years, numerous research efforts have focused on directions such as novel photovoltaic materials, device optimization, scaling up techniques, and physical processes of photoelectric conversion. By far, the efficiencies of single-junction organic solar cells and perovskite solar cells have successfully surpassed 20% and 26%, respectively, attracting widespread attention from the labs and the industry. To highlight the recent significant achievements in both organic and perovskite solar cells, we are pleased to introduce this special issue, hoping to contribute to the development of this crucial area. Submission Manuscripts should be submitted online at https://www.editorialmanager.com/actphy/Default.aspx. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline.
