They therefore hold significant promise for applications in military stealth, radar communications and electronic packaging. In recent years, extensive research has been devoted to elucidating the absorption and shielding mechanisms of electromagnetic functional materials, achieving broadband and multifunctional design, developing novel electromagnetic energy harvesting devices and establishing scalable, low‐cost fabrication processes. These substantial results are expected to accelerate the transition from fundamental research to practical applications. To showcase recent important achievements by scholars worldwide in the fields of microwave absorption and electromagnetic shielding materials, we are launching this special issue in the hope of contributing to the development of this critical area. Submission Manuscripts should be submitted online at https://www.editorialmanager.com/actphy/Default.aspx. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. Upon acceptance, papers will be published immediately and listed collectively on the special issue's webpage. We welcome original submissions such as communications, research papers, as well as perspectives, special articles, and reviews. Articles can be written in either Chinese or English. Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts are refereed through a peer-review process. We do not charge any fees from authors. |
