To showcase the latest research achievements of emerging scholars in physical chemistry in China and inspire young researchers to pursue new scientific heights, Acta Physico-Chimica Sinica is pleased to launch the 2026 Special Issue on “Emerging Scientists”. The articles featured in this special issue have been rigorously selected by the editorial office in collaboration with invited experts and represent a collection of notable research contributions by young scholars in the field of physical chemistry. Focusing on frontier scientific questions, the selected studies demonstrate both strong originality and potential application value, highlighting the broad academic perspectives, innovative spirit, and vibrant research activities of a new generation of physical chemists. Through this special issue, the journal sincerely hopes to provide a platform for young scholars to showcase their research achievements and foster academic exchange, while promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and integration.
