Abstract: The linear equation of salt effect on phase transformation in the mixtures of nonpolar-nonpolar system and nonpolar-polar system can be proved with the aid of perturbation expansion. The cause of linear equation has been discussed from ther-modynamics. By introducing the expanding boundary function, we calculated phase transformation temperatures for a number of systems in which the phenomenon of seperating phase has been observed and compared with experiments.
