Preparation of PyDDP-modified Gold Nanoparticles and Mechanism for Red-shift in the Surface Plasma Resonance Absorption

摘要: 用柠檬酸三钠还原四氯化金制备了金纳米颗粒,并用双十八烷氧基二硫代磷酸吡啶盐(PyDDP)对其进行修饰. 红外吸收光谱表明PyDDP与金颗粒表面以共价键方式结合;透射电子显微镜(TEM)的结果表明, 所得到的PyDDP修饰的纳米金颗粒尺寸与修饰前基本相同; PyDDP修饰的金纳米粒子表面等离子吸收发生了较大幅度的红移.利用偶极子模型结合配位理论解释了PyDDP修饰的金纳米颗粒发生红移的机制.

Abstract: Gold nanoparticles were reduced by sodium from HAuCl4 citrate and then modified by PyDDP(O,O’-Dioctadecane dithiophosphate). IR spectra indicated that PyDDP covalent bond with the surface of the gold nanoparticle. TEM results showed that nanoparticles modified by PyDDP had a similar size with that of the original nanoparticles. At the same time it had been found that the surface plasma resonance (SPR) absorbance of the PyDDP-modified gold nanoparticles had a large red shift. Furthermore, the Jellium model was used to analyze the characteristics of SPR;the dipole model and the IR spectrum were used to form a new dipole model. It can be used to explain the mechanism of the red shift.
