Abstract: The liposomes of cefazolin sodium were prepared using one step supercritical CO2 (scCO2) method. The size, stability, and trapping efficiency of liposomes were investigated. The experimental results demonstrate that the size and stability of liposomes depend on the pressure. The trapping efficiency of liposomes relates to the concentration of ethanol and lipid. The trapping efficiency by the scCO2 method is much higher than the results from the Bangham method.
