Abstract: The size-dependent nanocatalysis has been well studied in the past three decades, while little concern is paid to the shape of the nanoparticles, which can greatly modify the reaction performance by selectively exposing specific crystal facets. This article highlights the recent progress on the morphology-dependent nanocatalysis published in Chinese Journal of Catalysis of the year 2010. This strategy should be workable in designing and preparing efficient nanocatalysts with tunable size and shape.
